In this video we run will find out if Apple updates can slow down your iOS device.
Hi All
Some people say that after they run Apple Updates on their iOS device so iPad, iPhone or iPod that their device slows down allot. I had an old iPad 2 laying around the house that was running a pretty old version of iOS, iOS 7. So I thought before I upgrade my old iPad 2 to the current version of iOS 9.2.1 at the time of writing this article. I thought I would run GeekBench which is a benchmark app used for testing the performance of hardware.
So running iOS 7 I performed the following tests.
* Running GeekBench 3 times with device running on battery
* Running GeekBench 3 times with device plugged into power
The device operated pretty much the same with the cable plugged in or out. Here are the results.
iOS 7.1.2 Results
