Apple fail to deliver on iPhone 7 Plus
This is a massive design fault by Apple a company that prides itself on great design. The adapter that comes with all iOS and Mac computers which allows you to change the power cord for a longer power cord or to change adapter type for different country’s.
If the plug gets damaged or breaks over time there is a chance that that you could take an electric shock.
Most people would assume when a plug is broken in this way that you would throw the plug out and by a new one, however improved design may actually stop being shocked even with a faulty plug.
And thus the Apple Recall has started.
So how do you tell If you have an Apple recall plug or not? Well here is Apples explanation below which I find that I had two read it a few times to make sense of it. 🙂
Identifying your wall plug adapter
Compare your adapter to the images below. An affected wall plug adapter has 4 or 5 characters or no characters on the inside slot where it attaches to an Apple power adapter. Redesigned adapters have a 3-letter regional code in the slot (EUR, KOR, AUS, ARG or BRA).

So can we have that in plain English please? Basically in these countrys Europe, Korea, Australia, Argentina and Brazil, If you check your AC adapter and it has 4 or 5 numbers on it or is blank then you can return it to an Apple store for an exchange.
Pretty straight forward? I don’t know why they didn’t just say that on their webpage.
Cheers

The brand new Apple iPad Pro, the first of its kind that Apple has released and it’s BIG, REAL BIG. But is it worth or just more of the same from Apple? I will leave that decision up to you. However lets take a look at what we are dealing with here in the Apple iPad Pro Unboxing & firstlook.
Lets talk about the size the screen is now a 12.9-inch retina display.
The iPad pro has 5.6 million pixels, which is the highest‑resolution Retina display of any of Apple’s iOS device’s so far. But this is probably because there is allot of real estate to fit that many pixels.
In Apples words 🙂
iPad has always offered a uniquely simple yet immersive experience. And now with its expansive 12.9-inch Retina display, nearly double the CPU performance of iPad Air 2, and refined Multi‑Touch technology, iPad Pro adds another dimension to that experience. It’s not just larger. It’s an iPad that lets you be more creative and more productive — at a whole new scale.
The iPad Pro sports Apple’s most powerful chip the A9X Chip and in the video we used Geekbench to benchmark the iPads Pro vs iPad Air 2. The iPad Pro smashes the iPad Air 2 in the single core scores of 3235 to 1817.
Probably the next big change and something that is unique to the iPad range is the inclusion of two extra high‑fidelity speakers bringing the total up to four speakers in the iPad Pro. I doubt that this is something Apple can actually fit into the iPad Air 2 so I believe it will stay unique to the iPad pro only. So the idea is that the sound will be more engaging with three times the acoustic output of iPad Air. Which is great but we found that if you are holding the iPad Pro your hands tend to cover the exact spot where the speaker grills are mounted and may cause some distortion of the sound. Not a big deal, but one worth mentioning.
Lastly, as an optionally extra you can buy a pen and a keyboard case that will allow you to write on the iPad and type like a normal laptop. while this seems to work fine. It doesn’t really replace you desktop and if you are looking to do that you might be better off with something like the Microsoft Surface Book or the Surface Pro 4.

This video will show you an unboxing of the Apple MacBook Pro 13 inch Retina Display (2015) laptop.
Hi All,
I managed to get my hands on the Apple MacBook Pro 13 inch Retina Display (2015) model. This is to try and help 123myIT users with some of the problems they face when they are trying to get Windows 8 or Windows 10 installed on Apples newest version of laptops.
Shortly I will do a step by step video on how to install Windows 8 and Windows 10 on the Apple MacBook Pro 13 inch Retina Display (2015) laptop, however lets take a quick look at what you can expect when you purchase the new version of the MacBook Pro.
On the outside of the laptop there isn’t much changes the design is pretty much the same as the 2014 MacBook Pro. However with the Apple MacBook Pro 13 inch Retina Display (2015) version there is the change of the Track Pad. Now I know what you are thinking. Come on Matt big deal right? Who cares about a Track Pad and what actually features can you improve on?
Well after using the new MacBook Pro in the video I briefly show you what is possible able with the new track pad which has the new functionality called Force Touch.
I describe it in the video as a click within a click. But its more then that. The second click seems to be pressure activated.
What this allows you to do, lets say if you are browsing a website and you have a website link on the page.
Clicking once and then on the second click if you use a little bit of pressure you can get a small preview of the page that is linked. On the second click if you use allot of pressure it will bring up a bigger preview of the linked page.
Its a bit hard to explain without actually using it for yourself, but you get the idea anyone. On the outset it might seem like a gimmick. However some people might find this feature pretty useful.
Worth the upgrade? Hard to say. If you are a Mac fan any upgrade is probably worth it. However if you do have a 2014 model you could probably run with that for now.
Cheers

This video will show you the Apple iPad Air 2 Unboxing & Review.
Hi All,
I recently got Apple’s latest iPad Air 2 and thought I would do and unboxing and review to show those of you who are thinking about buying one what to expect when you do go through with the purchase.
Overall I was pretty impressed with this version its very light and thin as you can imagine. 6.1mm thin to be exact and weighing 0.96 pound.
The iPad Air 2 comes in three different colours Silver, Gold and Space Grey. With Storage sizes of 16GB, 64GB and 128GB respectively and you have a choice of WIFI or WIFI + Cellular.
At the time of writing this article prices start at $499 for the 16GB Wifi model and go all the way up to $829 for the top of the range 128GB cellular model.
The iPad Air 2 comes standard with the latest Retina display, which is a 9.7-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit widescreen Multi-Touch display with IPS technology at 2048-by-1536-pixel resolution at 264 ppi.
The display has a Fingerprint-resistant oleophobic and Antireflective coating which is fully laminated. The screen doesn’t fracture the images as much as previous models giving the user a much improved viewing experience.
All iPad Air 2’s have the A8X CPU with 64-bit architecture and a M8 motion coprocessor. The iPad Air 2, comes with 8MP iSight camera, some features are Burst mode, Tap Focus, Timer mode and Photo geotagging. The iSight camera allows HD video recording at 1080p (30 fps) and Slo-mo at (120 fps). and also features Time-lapse video, Video image stabilization, Improved face detection and 3x video zoom.
Lastly one of the other big upgrades is Touch ID which allows you to log into the iPad with the need for a passcode.
Over all pretty impress look and feel to Apples latest iPad, while I wouldn’t rush out and buy one myself. If you are in the market for a new tablet you would have to at least take a look at it.
Cheers
